Conquering your fears!

What is your biggest fear in life? How do you face your fears? Are you able to face them or avoid them? Why is it important to attend your fears ? Let’s see!

Fears!

People tend to have fear over many things. Not everyone have similar fears, it all depends on the way you are nurtured in your childhood. Yes, the teachings and practises you have in your childhood matters a lot to your growth on fear. If you are been taught insects are disgusting, then for the whole life you will feel the same never try to overcome the feeling.

This can be easily said with an example of elephant. When a baby elephant is brought into the zoo, the keepers tend to put on a chain to the elephants leg so that it won’t run away. It will be quite tough for the baby elephant to break through the chain so it believes as impossible. When they grow up, the chains are still on the leg of elephant but it does not know the change in its own strength and still believes that it is unbreakable.

The same kind of belief is made up by your mind with the thing you fear the most. There are lots of fears. Some tend to have stage fear and hate going upon the stage to talk. Some fear height where as some failure. There are many people who fear failure.

Yes failure is a kind of fear to those who hate to change. They want everything to be normal and does not like to get changed or do the hard work. This fear of failure is the reason for least growth. You won’t be able to grow if you posses such a mindset.

So what has to be done to overcome these fears? It’s very simple, to face them. Yes that true. You can overcome your fears only when you face them with your might. Why do you thing you fear some thing? It’s because you have failed in your past or it may have hurt you real bad right!

Failing or being scared is just a perception that is created by your mind. Yes there are some real threats that make you feel nervous like over height, drowning, lagging or even fear of people and many more. You fear someone only when he is outmatched right. It may be physically or mentally. The real thing is if they posses a weapon.

Physical and mental strengthening can be done and that is not a threat. Every fear has its own way of reaching to its solution. Nothing in this world is present without any reason or solution. If you fear drowning, then you won’t learn swimming. But once you learn, it will become your passion right. It’s the same with all fears.

Similar is failure. If you are afraid of failure, work hard and practise more and more. Compete with yourself until you become master of it and then face. Then it won’t be a fear but you will start to like it. Just like swimming.

Every fear you have or your mind tend to create has it own way to overcome. The best way to overcome is to face them again and again. If you fear stage talks, try speaking first in front of few people then keep increasing the number.

If you don’t face it or even try, then you will become the elephant in the zoo without knowing the strength you posses. Don’t let it take a huge turn but act now to overcome the fears. Face them and keep practising until you become the master of it. Fears are the point you need to work on. They are not your weakness but a challenge to improve more.
